Welcome to Zero to IT Hero (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, digital content, physical products (like our book), pre-orders, coaching services, and any resources we provide.

 

By accessing our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use our stuff. Easy as that.

Who This Is For

 

Our materials are designed for people who are serious about launching or growing a career in IT. Whether you’re switching from retail, healthcare, hospitality—or just want to finally understand why your printer hates you—this site is for educational purposes only.

 

We do not guarantee employment. What we provide is the real-world knowledge, scenarios, and tools to help you think like a technician, not just memorize answers.

 

 

2. 

Intellectual Property

 

Everything we’ve written, designed, or created on this site—including the book, PDFs, mock interview questions, coaching materials, IT labs, and downloadable content—is the intellectual property of Zero to IT Hero.

 

Feel free to take notes and apply what you learn to your job, but you can’t resell, republish, or distribute our content without permission. Don’t be that person.

Coaching & Resume Services

 

If you book our coaching or resume review services:

 

  • Sessions may be recorded for quality or training purposes (we’ll tell you first).

  • No-shows without 24-hour notice may be forfeited.

  • Our advice is based on real industry experience—our coaches include senior recruiters and IT pros across multiple verticals—but you are responsible for how you apply it.

 

 

4. 

Refunds & Pre-Orders

 

We offer pre-orders for our book and coaching services. Pre-orders are refundable until the order is confirmed and shipped. After that, all sales are final unless otherwise stated.

 

That said, we’re human. If something goes sideways, email us. We’ll do our best to make it right, within reason. But we can’t promise exceptions.

 

 

5. 

Shipping Policy

 

We are a small team and value quality over speed. Orders may take 2–4 weeks longer to ship depending on demand, supply chain, or life stuff. Once we begin mass distribution, future orders will be fulfilled by Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

 

You are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. We are not liable for packages sent to incorrect or outdated addresses.

 

 

6. 

Website Use

 

You agree not to misuse our site or services. No hacking, scraping, or pretending to be someone you’re not. We log activity and take security seriously (our founder is a cybersecurity analyst, after all).

 

 

7. 

Limitation of Liability

 

We provide our content and services as-is, with no warranty. We aren’t responsible for damages resulting from your use of the material—whether you blew up a router, crashed a server, or just annoyed your IT department with newfound confidence.

 

Use common sense, verify what you try, and don’t go poking around corporate firewalls until you know what you’re doing.

We respect your privacy and keep your data secure. You can view our full Privacy Policy below. TL;DR: we don’t sell your info. We just use it to fulfill your order and occasionally send useful updates (not spam).
